The Updates Available window displays when product updates are available for download.
If any product updates are available, the Updates Available window allows you to view a list of the updates and gives you the option of downloading them immediately or at a later time.
To view what updates are available:
Click Show details. The Updates Available window will display a list of the available updates.
To install the updates later:
Click Later. The Updates Available window will close and you will be returned to System Mechanic.
To install the updates now:
Note: Some updates will require you to restart
your computer.
Click Download and Install Now. The Updates Available window will display the progress of the installation. The time it takes to download the updates depends on the size of the update and your Internet connection speed.
When the software update completes, either:
The Updates Available window will close and you will be returned to System Mechanic.
You will be prompted to restart your computer to load the updates. If you choose to restart later, you will be returned to System Mechanic.
